For this special corporate event, we found the perfect sailing ship to host 50 team members for an epic journey across the IJsselmeer. Departing from Muiden, the sails went up, the engine went off, and the team felt the pure energy of the wind guiding us forward. Some took the helm, while others relaxed on deck, soaking in the views and the peaceful rhythm of the water.

An Exclusive Island Escape

After a smooth sail, we arrived at the hidden gem of Eiland ’t Hooft—an untouched slice of nature reserved just for us. Here, we split into groups for two immersive experiences: stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and canoeing on the calm waters surrounding the island, and a guided Wild Way herb safari with the incredible Thirza.

Marie-Stella-Maris is all about natural, high-quality ingredients, so we wanted to align the experience with their mission. Thirza led a fascinating workshop, introducing the team to the power of wild herbs—many of which are the same plants found in Marie-Stella-Maris products. Employees got hands-on, foraging for ingredients and crafting their very own herbal sprays to take home. A tangible reminder of nature’s gifts, and a deeper understanding of the brand they represent.

After an afternoon of adventure, it was time to relax. Back on the sailboat, the grill was fired up for a delicious vegetarian BBQ with fresh salads and seasonal dishes. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the team shared stories, sipped drinks, and enjoyed the tranquil beauty of the open water.
